Good News!!!!

I finally decided to start a blog, so family, friends, and whoever wants can follow us in all of our journeys. So far 2011 has been great. We are still living in Provo as we have been for the past 2 years we have been married. Andy works for Fidelity Investments, he started in November of 2010. I finally just graduated from UVU with a degree in Secondary Education. Most of you can probably guess the subject I teach but just in case you are struggling I teach P.E. I just finished my student teaching this fall at Timberline Middle School in Alpine Ut. What a great school, I loved every minute of it. I am also completely done playing basketball at a competitive level. I do miss it but look forward to a different stage in my life. Basketball has been my life up until I got married. Now there are so many great things to look forward to. Andy and I just celebrated our second anniversary on May 16th, it's crazy how fast time fly's by. Its feels like just yesterday its was our wedding day. What a great experience in life to meet and marry your absolute best friend. Now we are on to our next adventure. ;)
Many of you probably don't know this yet but Andy and I are expecting. I am 4 months along and getting more and more excited have a family.  I haven't started showing yet, but don't worry when I do I will post a few pictures for you all to see.  I know that's everyone's favorite part is looking at the baby bump pictures, so I won't let you down. I'm not going to lie I am very nervous to be a mom, I am the worst cook probably in this whole world. I could use a teacher for anyone who would love to come teach and laugh at me. Or any great recipies you have I would love to get them, so if you feel like you can help my inability to cook, you can just post at the bottom. This poor baby will be learning right along with me and I'm sure it will be great. I am really looking forward to it. The baby is due on November 24th.  In about a month we will be able to find out the sex of the baby. We can't wait, I don't really have a preference on which I would rather although I would be terrible and doing a little girls hair ( I can barely do my own ) so its a good thing I have so many great friends again that will be teaching me if the baby is a girl.
Well I just wanted to get this blog started and let the news out. I am not a great writer but I plan to keep this up to date so if you would like to follow us some more we would love it.

  7. As you know, Julie, I am also very bad at cooking! I still buy like 20 paquets of Ichiban when we go to the store. Sometimes I stick chicken in it to mix things up, make it healthy! ha. The best blog that I have found for really yummy recipes is Our Best Bites. They have a cookbook, but they also post a lot of recipes. It's free and they all look really yummy. The good thing about babies is they eat just about anything blended up, so with that time and the time when they are just on liquids you have a ton of time to learn! John and I are so happy for you. Your kid can call me auntie if you want....
